The commission process
A considered process, personally directed by founder Di Kai — we don't outsource the craft.
We start with your space, your idea and the life you want inside it — on-site or over a call. Honest guidance on what's possible.
We compose the build — hardscape, planting, light, water and life-support — and send a clear, itemised proposal to approve.
We fabricate and install the system, cycle it, and hand it over thriving — integrated cleanly into your space.
Settling-in visits and optional aftercare keep your ecosystem balanced and beautiful long after handover.
What you receive
Every commission is delivered as a complete, functioning ecosystem. Here's exactly what's in your hands at handover.
01 · Design
A composition drawn to your room and light — hardscape layout, planting plan and the species it's built for, agreed with you before we build.
02 · The build
Custom tank or enclosure, sculpted hardscape, and curated plants & mosses — fabricated by hand, never flat-packed.
03 · The tech
Automated lighting, misting, CO₂ or filtration sized to the build and hidden from view — so it holds its balance without fuss.
04 · Backed after
Settling-in visits, the CCS Living Guarantee where it applies, and optional ongoing care — we don't disappear after handover.
