The add-ons available for the Riverbank Signature. Each is priced per build — ask and we'll quote it.
What's in the box — and what isn't
Every size includes the complete system. It isn't modifiable — the only upgrades we offer are the add-ons above, and anything beyond those is a Commission.
Every Riverbank includes
- The tank and everything fitted to it
- LED lighting
- Filtration & water flow, sized to the system
- Fitted, escape-proof cover — crabs are climbers

- Care sheet + WhatsApp support (photo diagnosis is always free)
Not included
- The animals. A new system needs 2–4 weeks to mature before livestock goes in.
- A stand or cabinet.
- Delivery & installation. The price depends on your address, accessibility, and the size of the build.
- Ongoing consumables — food, fertiliser and water conditioner. Available as an add-on — just contact us when you run out.
- Modifications. A Signature is a sealed recipe — for anything customised, that's a Commission.
Why it works
A real shoreline
Vampire crabs live at the water's edge, so that's what we build — planted land on one side, a flowing stream on the other, in one glass box. Not a tank with a rock in it.
Flow sized to the tank
The pump and filtration are matched to this exact system — like air-conditioning sized for the room. Enough current to keep the water healthy, gentle enough for small claws.
Escape-proof by design
Crabs are climbers, so the fitted cover is part of the recipe, not an accessory — ventilation where it's needed, no gaps where it isn't.

Is a Signature or a Commission right for me?+
A Signature is a proven design at a set price, ready in about 30 days. A Commission is designed from scratch around your space and ideas. If Riverbank is what you want, order it — if you want it shaped to you, commission it.

When can the crabs move in?+
2–4 weeks after setup — a new system needs to mature first. We can source and introduce the crabs for you once it's ready — see the add-ons above.
What does my home need?+
A stable surface that takes the tank's weight, and a power point nearby. Not sure about a spot? WhatsApp us a photo.
What support comes with it?+
A care sheet at handover, and photo diagnosis on WhatsApp is always free. If you'd rather we handle the upkeep, aftercare plans start from $200 per visit.
